Gentleman , I would assume this is where I would ask this question since it appears you all are up to date on everything.I am looking for a shredder for home use to shred my dry garbage, recyclables etc. Is there a machine out there ??Thanks Joyce
Reply:Howdy Joyce Harlow,Maybe check with PapaLion on this model:http://weldingweb.com/attachment.php...1&d=1297721871Otherwise, I'm sorry to report that even the smallest shredder can be a high cost, high-horsepower, high-maintenance, less than domesticated affair.Good LuckLast edited by denrep; 02-18-2011 at 12:39 PM.

Reply:An industrial quality machine capable of reducing you dry waste to a manageable levekl is going to be a fairly expensive undertaking. Most if not all of those types of equipment come from established long lived companies such as Diamond Z, Peterson and others. Ive had both to work on and in and they do an outstanding job as long as they operated and maintained in an appropraite manner. This is way out of the realm of a home owner or small quantity generator. The cost of replacement teeth and hammers alone will kill a home owner budget in the first pass. Take a look at the two I mentioned, as well as Vermeer and others.BobI'm spending my Kids inheritance, I dont like him that much anyway!!!!!!Enuff tools to do the job, enough sense to use em.Anybody got a spare set of kidneys?
