Reply:Looks to me your well on your way.David
Reply:thank s that is four lunch hours of welding to get to that point i think i just need to get the weave down to get it smother but I'm not surechuck
Reply:can you cut a few of those in half? I'm curious about penetration. Looks beautiful for 4 hours of practice though. Good job Keep up the good work. The practice is making it come along very nicely. Brian Lee Sparkeee24
Reply:Looks good , can tell volts & amps are set good very little splatter .You have a little undercut , Try tightning up your beads when travelinguphill and should solve problem
Reply:thanks i not use to this short circuit welding most of the pipe welding i've donehas been spray transfer so i never had to weld vert up or deal with splatter but im trying cant seam to get rid of the under cut and dont even get me started on the open joint of the root any ways thanks for the kind wordschuck
Reply:If your having trouble with undercut try holding on the sides a little longer and make the weave tighter. I haven't done any mig for year's but from memory that swhat I used to do.Stephen
Reply:Have you tried .035? .045 can be a handfull. Open root pipe? Run downhand with a keyhole.
