Hello all. In welding school, scanning local classifieds and found a guy selling this welder for 300.00. He said it was his grandfathers, it ran when stored but has been sitting a long time. Grandma said grandpa used to weld with it on the farm until he passed. Looks to be a Red Faced SA200 correct? Copper windings? I would be a fool to pass on this correct? I have 2 hours before I can see it. Thanks for any help.Jay

Unit is in great shape and still has the doors and hand crank should the battery/starter die.FYI, that's the F-162 driver.MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!

Reply:Was gonna say, if it's not a red face, Walmart sells spray paint in a red hue.$300 is a no brainer for an engine drive welder, much less a SA 200.MarkI haven't always been a nurse........Craftsman 12"x36" LatheEnco G-30B MillHobart Handler 175Lincoln WeldandPower 225 AC/DC G-7 CV/CCAdd a Foot Pedal to a Harbor Freight Chicago Electric 165A DC TIG PapaLion's Gate Build
