Reply:A total budget of $250?John - fabricator extraordinaire, car nut!- bleeding Miller blue! http://www.weldfabzone.com
Reply:you could build a machine that turns fossil fuels into noise, co2 and water...
Reply:I am not opposed to going over $250 i just wanted to see if anyone had any cheap ideas, I know there are alot of nice things to build out there for the right amount of coin, but i just want a cheap fun project
Reply:Lol, radiator and waterpump will cost that much.but i would say a small dunebuggy type car. Ebay some 4wheeler hubs etc.
Reply:Your gonna want to lower the compression to reduce the heat in the motor. PWC and outboard motors are designed and built with a constant, endless supply of fresh cold coolant around the motor in mind. Compression is a major source of heat generated in a motor. If you lower it down 25-30lbs, you'll probably be fine with some type of normal pump. You probably should chassis wise build some type of cart or small vehicle. Checkout the general designs of the Honda oddessy and pilots. A pilot type vehicle with full suspension would be a lot safer and better but more involved and spendy too. |
