Here are 2 projects with my Lincoln 225ac that I have been working on on my days off of work.First is the table, its made of 3/8 plate on top, and mostly 2"x3" tube all from the local scrap yard for $0.50 per pound. (little steep I thought.)Second, the small rolling cart I made for the unit. I used some small angle for a very tight fitting frame and some welded some plate on the bottom to rivet the wheels on. Worked very well and is saving my back from the torture of lifting that heavy bastard. And finally, here are a couple pics of both of them looking good before painting.Hope you enjoy and any opinions would be appreciated. I would love to hear any ideas for a good wheel system to use with that handle I put on there. I was figuring I would just mount some wheels to the back of the legs on one side and tilt the table up with the handle to make them hit the ground.  And notice the furniture sliders on the legs.... Just used them to not mark up the new floor I painted but they work great for leveling on the driveway and make the table a little more quiet to work on. Thanks for looking.
Reply:Cool, thanks for posting.Keep em coming.
Reply:Of course this is a beautiful job. Simple, practical, robust...I've seen tables before, but none of them were sitting on such nice floor...I even can see plastic wrapers on legs...What is this place? So, do you think this was a good investment?

Reply:If I may ask a bit more about this garage...It really looks like a good idea to increase value of the house,,,1. Do you actually use it for parking your car?2. What do you mean by "proper etching"?3. How big is your garage?4. Did you weld in garage or outdoor? Basically still curious how really durable the surface is...
Reply:Nice job on the table, I have the Lincoln AC-DC stick welder, after first getting it I looked at what they sell for a wheel kit for it, and went and bought a piece of 3/8 steel rod, and attached a couple of lawnmower wheels to it and attached  a stop on stand made out of a bolt on the front side of it where it set level. After a short while of bending over to set everything controls on it, I took an old used grocery cart and cut down the length of it some, took the basket off of it and mounted the welder up on it and had a little room on the front side of this for a toolbox which I carry some of the various thiings like chipper hammer, wire brush etc in. Works pretty good and rolls around the shop nice.

Reply:Looking good. I have two ac225s in the back of the shop. I don't use them very much, but I like them when I do. One was given to me (a long story, I am the only one that uses it, and it is ancient). The other was purchased for one job where it paid for itself and the XMT304 I use most of the time when in the shop. They are rock solid and last forever. The difference between art and craft is the quality of the workmanship. I am an artist.
Reply:I would cut about an inch off of 2 of the legs, weld a plate over the end, drill a 3/4 inch hole in it. Then weld a nut on it. Now you can weld a Plate (or foot) on the end of a bolt, this will allow you to adjust for uneven surfaces and still have a stable work surface.
Reply:Man, that's some kinda table.  You could drop a house on it, and it wouldn't make a dentYou didn't do too bad on the steel.  I just picked up 2 sticks of 2x2 11ga. square tubing.  $127.  OUCH!!!!!!!!!
