Here is a dredge i have been putting together at work.  It has a G379 Cat V8 motor with a 12' pump. The motor alone weighs 5T, the pump is 8T and the ladder was 13.5T. The ladder is 75' long and 4'6'' square. It will dig to a depth of approx 60-65' The motor is about 600 HP, pistons are the size of a 1 gallon paint jug. Dual turbos and 8'' straight exhaust. It runs on natural gas.I will try and get some better pictures when time permits. The digger head is hydraulic and one of a kind. It was built along time ago by the original owner of the quarry. We just keep on fixin it. So anyway here they are. Attached Images

Reply:You get all the fun jobs.....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:I am still trying to picture the pump. Is 12" the inlet size or the impeller? Is it a vane pump?
Reply:Yes Mark it is 12'' inlet size. The impeller is probably 32-34'' in diameter.
Reply:I have only one good question;   How is the fishing in your 'pond' and do you ever get to use your lunchtime that way?  Well, I guess that was two related ones.
