I bought this unit from Home Depot, it can do up to 5/16" steel. It can be a portable unit while I go offroading, & run it off my 120v generator. I need some feedback on this unit, is it a good performer? What are some "+"'s & "-"'s? I can always return it, if there is a better unit out there.

Reply:3200HD is rated 20A input, that's 20 x 120v = 2400W (continuous?, or does the 20% duty-cycle play into the equation). I have a portable Honda EU2000i (2000W max.(16.7A) 1600W rated (13.3A)), would it work?Right, I would use flux-core for 4x4 mobile situations. |
