Reply:What do you mean by "rock truck?" A quarry haul truck like a Volvo A25? I'd just copy the design of the one you're replacing. If you don't have an original handy, take a trip to your local equipment dealer and take some pics of similar-weight trucks and their tailgates. Note materials thickness and placement. Order materials and build something similar. Should be a pretty easy job, just heavy.
