Was actually fun, yet confusing. I couldn't actually see what that little wire was doing, that kind of made me get upset. Uhmm hmmm, oh wow, can you say embarassing? Like I forgot this wasn't stick and I kept trying to drag it across the table . But the only real problem I had was waiting for it to spark and get going, and keeping the beads up ya know. So, anyways I decided I'd make my friend 'waffles' a little sign lol...Enjoy----------------------Feel free to make suggestions on how to get better at MIG!And just throwing this out there, If you ever wanna make me a sign, thats cool too! *insert welding gibberish here* Mandy

Reply:Wire machines seem to put out a much dimmer arc. For me anyhow, very hard to see."Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
Reply:I played around with it some more today and realized its easier to work with when the wire is a little longer than normal.*insert welding gibberish here* Mandy
Reply:Looked a bit on the hot side.... but that might just be the heat building up as you went along. Here is where the AD hoods and their ability to change shades with the twist of a knob. Looks good all in all .
Reply:Thanksthe metal plate itself started to kinda bend, ya know?*insert welding gibberish here* Mandy
Reply:They'll do that - how thick is it? To me, you look like you're doing a great job! Very uniform, it does look a bit warm and thick, but, it'd hold if you needed it too That's where it counts. Are you using a thick peice of wire?
