I had to make a vented cover for a customer and didn't really know how I was going to do it. So I stared off cnc plasmaing the part with slats down the middle. Then I put some square tube along either side to support the ends of the slats. Then I used a chisel to punch each slat about 1/2" in from the ends. I worked one side, flipped it over and did the other side. I flipped it a total of 4 times. It turned out pretty nice looking. The other picture is a diaphragm pump for a local cannery. They wanted a frame for it to roll around on. I thought it was interesting because I had never seen a pump quite like it. To give it scale, the hose is 2". I think he said they run about 10K new. Reply:we use those sandpiper pumps at my work I like that cart we have one or two permanent installed and a couple that we can set up for flooding I am probably steal your cart idea the temps usually get set out of the back of the truck and hopefully dont end up in the sump there pumping out due to the pump cycling...
