Hi guys, i'm new to these forum thingies so bear with me!!Basically i live in England and i'm interested in re-locating to Canada perminently and was wondering if anyone had any advice about finding jobs.I work in the oil industry as Mass Transfer Reactor Internals fabricator work mainly for Shell.I am coded in Tig to 6G Stainless and Carbon and Mig solid wire and Fluxcore Satinless and Carbon Steel. I've checked canadian welding jobs on the internet but you seem to use different terms to which we use!Cheers again for any adviceBen.
Reply:You can have a look here for some basic infomation. http://www.cicic.ca/413/assessment-o...-canada.canadaAs far as I know, Alberta is the only province where welding is a regulated trade. There are quite a few foreign welders working in Western Canada right now.
