Best Weld Competition

Who can do the best weld? It could be MIG, TIG, STICK, BRAZING, GAS WELDING. Im not going to enter because im not really that good. I just love looking at pics of really good welds.

Reply:"Best Weld" is likely too broad.  Do some searching and you'll probably come up with a couple of older threads.  We had an informal "Best GMAW" contest and a "Best SMAW" contest.  The photos that were posted to those threads showed some amazing work.  I like to think that I'm a pretty good hand at GMAW, but one fellow posted some photos of his work on some pressure vessels that puts my work to shame.  His beads were several feet long and so consistent that they looked as though they were done by machine.So, if you want a "best stainless TIG" contest, post up a thread and see what happens.  Though, I'll warn you that there are a couple people on this forum that have done some manual stainless TIG that rivals the appearance of an orbital setup.-Heath
