This is a piece I made a couple years ago for my sister-in-law. The body segments were found in a scrap bin, and I made some primitive tooling to dimple the eyes. The copper for the eyes came from a salvage find off the bottom of the New River (WV) It was a riveted copper pressure vessel. Fire extinguisher maybe? I formed the legs and brazed on the eyes. At the time I didn't have a tig setup, but the copper to steel joints for the eyes would be a great candidate for silicon bronze. Attached Images
