welding a Wok?

Anyone tried to weld a chinese Wok? I only have stick electrode (home welder). It is for an 'arty' letterbox project, the wok looks like quite thin metal.Thanks.maxhr

Crazy white guy that likes stir fry......I use my MIG and just do the stack of quick tack's method. If you burn through, an aluminum backer block can help fill a hole. Reply:used up tractor discs work great! we make them all the time it is a cross between a mexican kamal and a chinese wok and the are commonly called discos.
