Now keep in mind that I work for an air conditioning company and am going to school for welding. But anyway, my boss bought a boat and didn't have anywhere to put it. So he decided to build a metal garage and this is his first as well as mine. It's been a learning experience. The dimensions are 24w x 30d x 10 high in the front and 8 in the back. It's got 3 posts on each side except for in the front which only has two for right now. The posts are 1/8" square tubing. He hasn't decided yet if he wants 1 or 2 doors in front. He also isn't sure if he wants to weld it at all. He is leaning towards only bolting it all together. I don't have any pictures of it yet but hopefully this coming week I will get to. We have all of the posts up on each side and 2 of the C-Perlins up on each side. PICS to come soon though!
Reply:If the boat is aluminum, weld it up to the building. He'll get a kick out of that!!! Yes, pics are good....And then, after so much work...... you have it in your hand, and you look over to your side...... and the runner has run off. Leaving you holding the prize, wondering when the runner will return.
Reply:Lol, I think I would like to keep my job for the time being. |
