Ideas for a plow mount system on a four-wheeler?Need some advice

My brother in law recently got a snow plow for free and wants to use it on his 4 wheeler.It is a 4x4 4 wheeler..But he really doesn't want to pay for a plow mount system type deal if i can make him one..Best way to do this?I'd have to make something to attach the plow, raise it up and down,and be able to turn it side to side / angle it..Any and all ideas appreciated

Reply:If you don't have plow dealers near you, see if you can get some online catalogues with pics.  Get a few different brands and compare them, then you can come up with a design that you like best.I went thru the same precedure when I built my front end loader.  I tried to incorporate the best ideas from different manufacturers into one design I thought would work best, then I changed it a little as I built it.There probably isn't one perfect way to mount a plow.  I't's gonna have to fit your needs, and the different weird things involved with your particular truck."Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
