Anyone know of any tig welding competitions or if they have those?... I would like to see how I do and would think it would be a good learning experience if given the opportunity. I live in Idaho so I doubt there would be anything around this area but it's worth a try and if I had to travel I wouldn't mind. Thanks,Josh
Reply:There is competition among the UA locals every year. It includes layout of pipe and several welding processes. Its an apprentice competition though.UA Local 598
