For the life of me a cannot seem to remember the series of fluxcore wire made by Lincoln that I used to reweld heavy equipment years ago that had very high deposition rate and great wetting properties and could be used for all postion welds. This wire produced a slag that curled off most times and if not you just brushed your chipping hammer over it and it would easily come off.I would appreciate help with this if anyone can help, could it have even been metalcore? I hope that my explanation helps me with the answer.
Reply:Try the Licoln site, you might recognize the wire by number or description.http://www.lincolnelectric.com/en-us...-shielded.aspxRick V 1 Airco Heliwelder 3A/DDR3 CTC 70/90 amp Stick/Tig Inverters in Parallel1 Lincoln MIG PAK 151 Oxy-Acet
Reply:I checked the site before asking on welding web and i cannot remember the number.
Reply:Was it Innershield, or Dual Shield wire? If it was Dual Shield it was probably the Elite 71 or something of the same class.Disclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."
