Hi Gang: Please forgive me if this has been posted somewhere before, I couldn't find it if it has. I have a MM135 now and want to upgrade to something a little bigger, perhaps the MM210. I have two concerns, and need your advice. #1 is the M25 gun physically too large for working small stuff like 1/2 square tubing and 1/2 wide flat bar, small expanded metal, etc??? The M10 gun on the 135 is exactly the right size for what I do and I understand the 210 has a bigger gun...?#2 as you can gather by the above question, I do a lot of smaller stuff, mixed in  with the occasional piece of .120 wall 2x2 square tubing object. Will the 210 dial down low enough to do thin stuff like .065 wall square, .088 sheet, etc. without a lot of TLC to prevent burn out? Having not worked with a 210 before, all I'm going on is peoples recommendation of the 210 as being a great machine. Any help is greatly appreciated. Ronnie LyonsMeridian, Idaho
Reply:#1 While the M25 gun is a little bit bigger (not much), the mist notable difference I find is the difference in weight. The M25 is heavy compared to the M10, but you should have no problem with 1/2" tube or flat stock once you get used to it.#2 I don't have a MM210 but I do have both a MM135 and a MM251 and I think you will have no problems doing thinner materials with the 210.  I thought that I would keep the MM135 around just for doing lighter work, but find that I use the 251 for most everything.  Now I justify keeping the MM135 by it's portability.Get the 210, you won't be disappointed.Mac
Reply:i have a lincoln 140 and a mm210. the 210 gun is bigger but a lot better and the larger size of it doesn't affect the way it performs. The 210 will also dial down and do some thin stuff fairly easyily. going from a 110 volt machine to a 220 volt is like a night and day difference. you wont regret chosing the 210.
Reply:The MM 210 will drop down to 30 amps, the same as your MM 135, so it should weld about the same on thin material as your MM 135, but it will do a lot more on the top end. When the  drops the  stops!Check out my website at:  Tombstone 180 ACHandler 120Millermatic 210Powermax 380Harris & Victor torchesSawzallChop Saw
Reply:the MM210 is an excilent choice. every one that gets one loves it and its next on my list of goodies. get it you will love it, if you do find the M-15 gun too big (but i dought it) you can always put a M-10 gun on it ofr the lil stuff, but odds are you will be fine with the M-15 summer is here, plant a tree for mother earth. if you dont have time or space, sponcer some one else to plant one for you.feel free to shoot me a PM or e-mail me at [email][email protected] i got lots of time.
