Just bought a Hornell Speedglas 9002X - I'm pumped!

Man, I got this thing from eBay from Indiana Oxygen Supply. l started messing with it right away. This thing is awesome! With my old helmet I got flashed more than once and this thing completely eliminates that problem. No more floaties in my eyes from my cheapie $10 helmet. It flashes on quick, has a big viewing glass, and I can actually see what I'm doing! It's amazing. The first weld I put down actually looked like a real weld. Reply:I finally bought one a couple of months ago, and now I don't think I'd want to TIG without it.I absolutely love it.Only paid $285 for mine.
Reply:i have a miller xli american flag that i got last year for xmas. the other day i was at a garage sale and saw a brand new helmet made by speedglas. i never really looked at them but new they were high dollar. i gave 45 dollars for it. i think it costs about 150 on ebay.

Reply:The Speedglas will still flash in odd positions as will just about any other helmet.  I've a 9002x as well, the best part of which is the visibility.-Heath
