help!!!

hey guys... new to the forum... i need a little help.... i'm looking for the old school welders caps like you could get 20 years ago.... short crown, thick, heavy bill,multi-colored....i hate these thin little junky ones you get today...they suck... don't hold up when you wash them and don't last....any help at all would be greatly appreciated....anybody know the ones i'm referring too??? wish i could post of one but the last one i had went to the trash about a year ago now.... looked like a ball cap with a short bill...
Reply:I have been using hats from "hats by frank" from ebay for four years they all have lasted for a good while. i rotate between two black and white cow pattern when they turn all black that one gets washed and i use the other.  dropped alot of slag on it but didnt burn me till it went down my back.WELD TO LIVE LIVE TO RIDEA bad welder blames his equipment, a good weldor can lay a perfect bead on any thing

Reply:Couldn't resist so I got one of those blue flame Miller brand ones at KMS. Was on sale, but still ridiculously priced. I fits really nice though and is nice and light. Better comfort than my Kromar.200amp Air Liquide MIG, Hypertherm Plasma, Harris torches, Optrel helmet, Makita angle grinders, Pre-China Delta chop saw and belt sander, Miller leathers, shop made jigs etc, North- welders backpack.
Reply:Any baseball type cap backwards works for me..It's all a matter of where the back strap ends up on your forehead..Adjust mask strap accordingly....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:Good welding caps are designed so that when you turn them sideways the bill will lay flat and protect your ear.
