I saw your thread on your broken vice grip. Well my good ol made in the usa set broke too. I decied to weld it up just like you did. My set is the type that slips in and look like it is brazed on. Heres some pics. Lincoln .035 nr211 mp was used Sorry that their alittle fuzzyHard to see but good ol made in the usaYa gotta spend money to make money!

I got some extra springs for mine some years ago; they're a pain to use without springs and I've had a few break with long use.Counting all the variations, I'd guess I have about three dozen Vise-Grips.
