Anyone know of a source(s) for a cooling fan motor for a Miller Thunderbolt 225 (AC only) welder? Motor is 220V, 60Hz, but a 110V motor could be wired in also..................Thanks................no_arc
Reply:your local friendly miller dealer. armed with serial number and model number they can get you just about anything.
Reply:I don't recommend a 110 fan. The third wire in the cord is a ground, not a grounded conductor ( neutral ) and should not be used as such. If you have to use a 110 fan get a 220 to 110 step down transformer and keep your ground in tact.DennisThermal Arc 185-TSWMillermatic Challenger 172VictorO/AAtlas Craftsman 12 by 24 LatheEsab PCM-875Wholesalem Tool Mill-Drill
Reply:Miller posts their manuals on the internet if you don't have one so finding the right number for the right part should be no problem even you lost your manual. First thing I did when I bought a used 251 was to download the manual. |
