Chicke Salad outa chicken ****

I was asked to fix this.  Its too long of a story, but this is what I got to work with.I ground it all off with a 4.5" Dewalt and die grinder with a carbide burr.  Heated it with a propane torch and wire brushed all the paint and crap off....Put a fresh smooth layer of weld over the whole mess, filled a bunch of holes and ground it smooth again.   Some primer and sort of red paint...SP100 on E4 or C3, C/25, .023 wire 6 Lpm (13 cfh)  Harbor freight helmet I aint no body man..... Reply:The hinge pin holes were worn out.  I wanted to fix them, but all he cared about is how it looked and the door shut.  Thanks DavidReal world weldin.  When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.

Reply:did that to a guys locker at work... he thought it would be funny to put neverseize all over my lock on my locker.. so i made it really difficult to get into his!!!    full bead all the way around .....  he had to cut the door off.. get his smoking burning crap out of his locker and find a new one

Reply:You didn't cut the (old) crap out and then put a patch piece in place?  You just ground out the old rough 'weld' and then did some weld bead build-up and then a quick hit with the grinder to smooth the new good welds down flat, and then primer-n-paint?And just how did you keep from melting/burning all the meltable/burnable stuff right next to the repair area?  Like the plastic trim, and the plastic hose leading to the other door, etc?And JB-Weld is usually MUCH smoother than that original pigeon-poop.    The best laid schemes ...
