Just picked up this Miller A/BP. Found it on Craigslist, got it for $400. Everything seems to work well except for the HF. I ran a couple of stick beads with it before I bought it, man what a smooth arc.It came with about 25' of leads, a twist-lock stick stinger, a little air cooled TIG torch, a water cooled torch head, 2 good pedals, and one for spare parts.I'll have to dig into it and figure out what's up with the HF. I suspect it's one of the two contactors involved with the HF board.5 to 460 amps, wow.Miller EconotigCutmaster 38Yes ma'am, that IS a screwdriver in my pocket!
Reply:Nice find Joe H.  There's one in Houston too for $300 but I don't think it has any accessories.  Power hungry critters and heavy too at around 850#.MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!

Reply:Heavy is putting it lightly. (I'm not sure that makes sense)I wish I had taken a few pics of that monster in the back of my little Mazda B2200.Little truck did better than I expected though. Getting it out of the truck was a project in itself. It needs a 100 amp breaker to operate at full output. That's not a problem, but I really doubt I'll ever need 460 amps. I ran a couple of beads a few minutes ago at about 160 amps, on a 40 amp breaker with no issues. It is one big machine, casters and all it stands about 5' tall.Miller EconotigCutmaster 38Yes ma'am, that IS a screwdriver in my pocket!

Reply:I recall seeing this machine on Craigslist and thought it was a darn good buy for the money. Congrats
Reply:Here's a pic of mine it is a great old machine. I ran it on a fifty amp circuit for a while no problems. I gave 600.00 for it several years ago a local dealer took them out of a school and had them load bank checked before he sold them and they are heavy. I added the cooler and water cooled torch later it welds so smooth. You can go to Millers web site and down load an owners manual.Tim Attached ImagesMiller 330 A/BP Bernard SS coolerMiller cst 250Miller Big Blue 251DCentury 210 Mig (first welder I bought)Hypertherm PowerMax 800Victor torch setRu Fong 31 MilAtlas lathe
Reply:Hey Toolman, nice machine. I'm gonna have to build myself a cooler, that's gonna be a must have item. It does have a smooth arc. I was impressed by it immediately upon striking the first arc.I've gotta get out here and wrk on this HF issue too.Miller EconotigCutmaster 38Yes ma'am, that IS a screwdriver in my pocket!
