Reply:FUBAR'D THE THIRD POSTFits well between fender wells on both trucks.  Only tested it on the 1/2 ton F-150.  Bein' a fan of American built iron, I thought it handled a pretty good overload well.  Dodge has too much crap in the back to put the doggone thing on it.  50" wide, fits all domestic beds, I guess.Squatted the ol' Ford a bit, but try that with a Tundra Attached Images"Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/

Reply:I wouldn't say something like that. Would I? I don't know. I might. It looks good but I STILL want to see it on the tractor! All kidding aside, I think this is going to be a very handy rig for you. It should save you a lot of time and some backaches too. Well done.
Reply:That is one nice setup for hauling the toys around the ranch.   I am thinking that maybe you might “pimp” it out with some work lights, vice, and a cooler to keep them puppies cold…. Great example of practical engineering… Thanks for sharing

Reply:Samm - The wheel removal socket extension, should somehow be supported near the ratchet head.Since you're good at getting things built -  How about a vertical angle with scallops cut out of it to support the extension at various heights?Good Luck

Reply:Looks good Sam!!  I think you need to add a little insulation to the cooler section though, hot beer ain't to damn good.....unless you're already drunk and don't realize the difference (been there)  Maybe you should wait and see how this bedliner stuff turns out before painting, it would be perfect if it works DewayneDixieland WeldingMM350PLincoln 100Some torchesOther misc. tools
