This simple hanger is made from 3/8 round. All the bends done on the HF knockoff of the Shop-Outfitters bender. Once you get the angles right, it's easy to knock these out.The big loop was done with a custom 8"die I made for the bender out of a piece of iron pipe.It's designed so that the hanger doesn't get in your view if the hummers, and so any spills drip to the ground instead of mucking up your deck.Drives the ants crazy, they can never find the source. Reply:Nice hanger ! Where do you get the bottom tray that goes on the bottle.. Looks liek a good chicken waterer as well ! Maybe a little lower to the groud though ! Looks like my backyard, what part of VA ? I'm in Waynesboro.... where I-64 and I-81 join.Not a beginner, not a pro !

Reply:Nice Job! And timely I just saw the first hummers start buzzing around here about week ago. The wife makes her own surup, I think a 5 lb bag of sugur mixed into a gallon of water. The waters hot for the mixing but not boiling as that can damage the sugur. |
