Building Gates??

I need to put a 12' double gate in beside the house but I don't really want to spend $2000 for someone to do it for me when I can do it much cheaper myself. The gate has to be metal and match my existing walk through gate which is just a 1" X 1" squared tubing frame with some ornamental iron on top and corigated steel panel on the front...Does anyone know a good place to purchase these gates or at least buy materials to build one? I'm in Yuma and I don't seem to be having any luck with any places around here??Here are some pictures of the existing gate that I want to match. Reply:me and my dad build gates on the side and we get all of our stuff from a company called pattons heres the websitehttp://www.pattonscorp.com/catalog/the gates shouldnt be hard to make. i would put a door handle/ lock box on the double gate. pattons sells the boxes and they arnt to hard to put in. hope it helps kevin flentye

Reply:Its a nice gate,  how thick is that steel sheet? i like the design of it also.  Just one suggestion. It seems from the pictures that this way is to your front door if that is the case, i would choose a more bolder color. That color kind of blends in to the brick work on both sides and you really cant appreciate it.  Just my 2 cents.
