Well I went and bought a new camcorder for recording turkey hunts and fishing trips.  I was just going to start on this little birthday present project for my niece, and I thought "Hey! I should record this and post it so the fellas at WW can take a look."  This is my first attempt at editing video, I hope it's watchable!  Its a simple project, just cutting a horse out of a piece of steel plate but people really like them as gifts, so what the heck right?this is my first time posting a link here I hope it works!- If you can jump across it you can weld it!  - anonymous old boilermaker

Reply:i need to get some steel plate and cut out a hog gettin bayed, i'll be doin it w/ a cuttin disc though. the tack it onto a square steel plate, paint teh background blue, and the hog &dog orange.  it'll be my front license plate  GO GATORS!!

Reply:Nitesky,  Its actually a neutral flame but the pressure is down.  I use 4 psi on the acetylene and maybe 18 on the oxygen, and I was using a 00 tip(Victor).  I used to set the torch up the way they teach out of the book, when a learned old boilermaker took me under his wing and showed me the method I used in the video, I was so impressed that it worked better than the "book way" that I never really asked why, just did it.  I kinda messed up with my editing on that part.  If I get more free time I just might make a cutting torch video, and work on the editing and audio a little better!  Thanks for watching guys!- If you can jump across it you can weld it!  - anonymous old boilermaker
