Kempii MIG 400, wire feed 9.9 meters/minute, volts- 25.9.3 pass weld on 10mm thick low carbon steel.... Now, Why can't I get a job?.
Reply:Matt, I can see why you're not landing the photographer job, but from what I can make out, the weld looks OK.Just to nit pic, since you asked, I would expect smaller size and much less spatter for a spray arc weld. Also, appears like some slight undercut at the upper toe line, and maybe irregularities/poor blending along the lower toe line of the upper bead. Like I said, hard for me to really see from the photo.

Reply:Argo sheild I think it was called, 10% Carbon Dioxide, 90% Argon I belive from what I can remember. |
