I just wanted to see how far this would go, so I'm running a live feed from the shop.. So you can see how slow it is in the shop at the moment.Might even catch us eating lunchhttp://www.ustream.tv/channel/welding-%26-fabrication-MikeOh yeah, I'm going to bring in some longer cables so I can mount the cam in a better location.. Reply:So our new project in the middle of the floor will be a die holder.  The outside dimensions measure 56" wide, 120" long and 92" tall.. It will have an outside frame with broke 16ga sheet broke into 'C's-stacked ontop of themselves, side by side... all in all, the two units will use up 40 sheets.Common sense in an uncommon degree is what the world calls wisdom.

Reply:damn its off air when i logged on.    I have been thinking of getting security cameras for my shop that are linked to the internet 24/7Vantage 500's LN-25's, VI-400's, cobramatics, Miller migs, synch 350 LX, Powcon inverters, XMT's, 250 Ton Acurrpress 12' brake, 1/4" 10' Atlantic shear,Koikie plasma table W/ esab plasmas. marvel & hyd-mech saws, pirrana & metal muncher punches.

Reply:Since we are still waiting for the rest of our material on the carts, lots of small projects of the shop can be worked on.. We picked up two Wilton vises from auction.. a model 400s and another one that has the numbers 845 and 945(havent cross checked it yet).  I went ahead and cnc'd out the base plate and am going to let that on a 2 x 2 x 1/4 square tube and mount it to the table with a reciever tube.  Also, we have so many duplicate drill bits that we needed to fab up a holder tray for them.. It's good and bad being in limbo.. no money coming in, but we are catching up on alot of things that needed to be done for quite some time.Common sense in an uncommon degree is what the world calls wisdom.

Reply:It's been in storage and the boss finally brought it in to be shipped out Monday for Canada.. Someone bought it off him.  Oh yeah, the R4360 also means it has 4360 cubic inches.Common sense in an uncommon degree is what the world calls wisdom.

Reply:No... I think they are going to restore it.So we finished the racks that I posted a print of, yesterday.. There was quite a bit of labor in the project... Just to glue the broke pieces of 16ga plate together took 1 1/2 hours per row.. I guestimated that it would take 21 hours for 14 rows and it took 22.. Got lucky on that one.. It took 40 sheets of material, sheered and broke (from our vendor).. Worked out to be about 33 bucks a piece... The framework was a combination of 2 x 4 x .250 and .125 rec tube with the heavy duty casters mounted on 1/2"  plate that was tapped out.  All and all, they turned out pretty nice.  The downside is that they are so heavy, it takes 3 guys to get it rolling on flat ground.Oh yeah.. the thing was so heavy, I had to flip it on it's wheels with the boom truck..
