This railing is at one of my customer's home, the spear that points up was broken off and missing. I made a copy from 3/4" solid square bar and some 20 gauge plate. My only complaint is that the leaves are a little too small, but the customer was happy with it, I even offered to take it back and fix it, but they said it'd be fine. Boy that's some pretty rail, too. Well now it's time to go build their fire screen. Attached Images
Reply:Nice fix app-ironworksllc.I understand your desire to re-do the leaves but bottom line the customer was happy and that's what counts.Good job.MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!

Reply:Thanks, now the only problem is I my little riveters forge had an air leak by the tuere valve. It got too hot, and cracked almost in half, from the valve in the center all the way to the edge on one side. Rather than worry with trying to patch this one together I'm going to build a larger pan style forge out of plate. I'll build a new tuere then I'll just swap over the blower and controls. I have needed a larger forge for a long time. I have a feeling some late nights are going to be in order to get that done. Jobs are staring to come in pretty good, and time for this type of non-paying project is rare. Of course this is a good problem to have, so I'm not complaining.
