Done this back in december, First time I had ever picked up a TIG that day and an hour later I was doing this on Stainless.. not bad eh?.. I did have a guy giving me pointers though.

Reply:Nope, not bad at all. I'm just learning to TIG too.Who was the guy giving you pointers and how can I get him to show me how? PS: were you using filler or just running fusion (my eyesight isn't what it once was so I can't tell).

Reply:Yeah, I found it pretty hard at first but picked it up soon enough, he just told me once I saw the puddle to start moving or I would over heat the metal, it is 1.6mm thick. he was a sheet metal worker building electric stainless steel magnets for mineral extraction equipment (mining equipment).no filler.Your very funny Mr.Zap! video game... in china welding might be their version of a video game...
