DC TIG means no welding Aluminum?

Hello Everyone.I would like to weld AL using my TIG machine. I am not able to afford a Miller or a Lincon, so i am stuck with a harbor freight.Just yesterday I read here that DC TIG means it cannot be used to weld Al. Can someone please point me to any reading material online as to why? I would like to know.I have searched the web and I have only got more confused. YouTube has videos showing people using DC to what appears TIG Aluminum.Thank you.

Reply:The money you don't have to spend on a name brand welder will be spent of buying He. Depending on the grade of He, someone posted that they were paying $300 for a 200 cuft + bottle of He.
