Argon Regulator w/Flowmeter?

I am looking to pick up a regulator set up for my MM175. I really don't want to or see the need to spend $100+ on something if a cheaper one is just as good.These things any good?http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=006If not, what should I look for?
Reply:I don't know what area your in, but I had to purchase one a while back. I just went to my local welding supply, he had 3 or 4 to choose from ranging from around $50.00 to a little more than $100.00. I got the next highest priced one, it was a Esab with a lifetime warranty with hose for I think $64.00with tax.   I'm expert but with the floating ball as the gauge I really don't think it matters who makes it.
Reply:I got a few I need to sell.  The dial-type calibrated regulators, most by Smith and standard equipment with a MM175.  Let me know if you are interested before I eBay them.  They are located in Las Vegas, where I will be all of May.

Reply:Of course.  But how accurate do you need to be?  This is a shielding gas, and for GMAW at that.We aren´t conducting scientific airflow experiments.Calibrated (for flow) regulators are standard equipment for most factory-equipped machines, including my Maxstar GTAW machine.

Reply:None of these high pressure regulators or flowmeters are very accurate for reading tank pressures near zero.  That pressure reading is done on the high pressure side of the diaphragm and anything accurate at 2200 psi is going to worth diddly squat when near zero unless it is incredibly expensive.I'll reply to your PM tomorrow about the Smith regulators that I have available.
