Has anyone else experienced them short changing you on a refund?I had them price match +10% a TSC ad for $550 for the HH187. NT had them for $675.I did everything they asked and mailed in the ad and whatnot, waited 6 weeks longer than promised and finally got my check in the mail.Problem is the check is for $79.86, not $137.50 as it should be.I have written customer service, just to be advised to write a letter and mail it to a particular address.... No email, no calls: a stamp and an envelope. Seems like trying to save some money to start a new hobby has just created a headache...

Reply:Well I first tried to buy from TSC when I seen that they were having a clearance (thanks WW.com).I went to every store in the area (3 or 4) and they only had the display. No biggie until they were missing main components. http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=58111
Reply:why price match just go to the place that is offering the best deal in the get go. no bs. i don't play that game. i just buy local and be done with it. that way if there is a problem or question or a warranty issue the lws is right close and is usually more than willing to help. if purchased elsewhere, good luck getting the lws enthused about helping you. they will still help but your job goes on the back burner.
