Hi, guys...I'm not new to welding, but am trying this site out to see if I like it any better than the Hobart site that I've hung around on for a few years. I am a retired guy in the Texas Hill Country, and sell enough of my Metal Art to just about (almost) pay for the hobby.I did this Road Roller this morning. I was given the (very) old main body and rear wheels..and it was pretty much crushed and folded up some. I straightened it out (kinda), added a front roller made from a chunk of Harley muffler, rolling on a set of scooter wheels glued inside, supported by two old hinges, and topped with a couple slices of an old dust pan (VERY thin stuff).
