It was suggested I make a new thread, so, here goes.I am looking to learn to begin welding- I know absolutely nothing about it, and searched the forum and found a few threads which I read.Is there a book or books I can read to get an idea of the underlying principles and terminology? Thanks.Nelson(LI, NY)Hobby-Machinist.com - The Friendly Machinist Forum®My toys: South Bend Heavy 10L Lathe (1973)Burke #4 Milling Machine (1946)Van Norman #12 Milling Machine (1942)South Bend 14" Drill Press
Reply:Hey Nelson,If you go to Amazon, type in "Welding" in the search window. There are hundreds & very reasonably priced. I have a small welding library from Amazon.
