I need some advice. I want to learn to TIG weld. I have a Lincoln 225 AC/DC cracker box and can reverse the polarity. Can I hook up a TIG gun and weld with this machine? Any advice on how to do this would be appreciated.

Reply:My pipeline welder buddy came over to my house to TIG up some of his stuff. He was scratch starting my Lincoln Precision TIG. I had to about punch him in the head and take the torch out of his hands. LOLLincoln Precisoin Tig 1851980's Miller plasma cutter.Used to own...Hobart Tig Mate.

Reply:Gump, that link pointed to search results. I guess that search expired. Here's what I did: go to the advanced search, search for keywords, change search posts to search titles only, search for "scratch start".I did it again, while I made this post, so as to get the steps right, and here's the link to that one: http://weldingweb.com/search.php?searchid=2066949Ian TannerKawasaki KX450 and many other fine tools
