I had two old 250 pound Practice Bombs, made BBQ out of the first, which sold in 30 minutes at the gallery, so I made another from bomb #2. Its a Charcoal Grill. Recycled Exercise Machine is the base, 'running' on Golf Bag Cart wheels. Tils to "Launch Position" for display, lowers to grill."Good Enough Never Is"MIller AC/DC ThunderboltHobart HH180, 125EZRiland Cut 40 Plasma oxy/act outfitTons of "stuff", all treasures to me!
Reply:Thats pretty cool. How big is the grill area? Can you cump the ashes when it is stood up?
Reply:That looks "F-ing" awesome. (A little small?), but awesome."SOUTHPAW" A wise person learns from another persons mistakes;A smart person learns from their own mistakes; But, a stupid person.............never learns.

Reply:The grill area is 12" x 18", so its about the size of your average $49.00 grill. This one does not clean out when tipped, like the first one i made due to a different tail rocket design... the bottom has a stainless tray ( a broiler pan) that lifts out for "chunks", but it'll be a shop vac job to really clean it out. It does have a couple 3/8" drain holes, so it can be hosed out also. Its already at the gallery, but I'll try to take a picture of the inside before it sells (its in another town)."Good Enough Never Is"MIller AC/DC ThunderboltHobart HH180, 125EZRiland Cut 40 Plasma oxy/act outfitTons of "stuff", all treasures to me!
Reply:I'd venture a guess that anyone who purchases it will keep it as artwork, and probably never light a fire in it. Be a shame to ruin the paint on the fin with the first cook out."Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
Reply:nuh uhh It'd be awsome. I'd have that thing turnin' blue over time. It's awsome. How about propane jets and a clip on warming tray for the booster end.Brian LeonardAppalachian Ironworks L.L.C.434 Long Branch Rd, Marshall, NC 28753828 649 9966828 702 [email protected] |
