Reply:First off, your English is not terrible. There are many U.S. residents on web forums with English far worse than yours !I had that harbor freight machine for a while, it is an ok machine to learn on. I only took it back because I decided to spend the $$$ for a real nice machine. You can definitely learn tig welding on your own, it really isn't that hard. Certainly not harder than learning stick, if you ask me.As far as importing, I know nothing about that, only that I might be afraid about getting a unit from HF (harbor freight) that could have problems out of the box... not so easy to return from Brazil maybe? Best of luck to you !- John

Reply:I believe it has lift-arc, meaning you touch the tungsten down briefly, then lift it up to start the arc. At least I think it has that, I could be wrong it might just be scratch start. It isn't ideal, but it will get you started on tig welding.- John
Reply:I used to have one.It is lift start.Actually a pretty good machine for the money.Mine died, but I returned it and they refunded my money in full, so I have no complaints.I'm thinking about getting another one just to have a portable unit I can take from site to site with me.It goes on sale for $199 from time to time.  At that price, it doesn't have to last super long before you get your money's worth from it anyway.Favorite right now is a Miller Syncro 200.Tons of tools and I blame at least one of them when things don't go right.
Reply:thanks guysi hope that HF machine don´t brokeand how i will know when its time to change the tungsten
