Hello,I'm new to metal working all together. My son and I have a design for ornamental scroll work we are trying to produce but cannot get off the ground because we can't find a die that will reproduce the scroll we need.We have access to a Hossfeld bender so it would be ideal that the die fits Hossfeld but, we plan on buying our own bender before long. So if we get "forced" into buying a bender, it isn't a show stopper for us.We faxed to Hossfeld a diagram of the scroll we are trying to make and they said we need a "turn and a half scroll, 2 1/2" diameter die" but they don't have any turn and a halves that small.Does anyone have any suggestions?
Reply:a picture would be nice, but a napkin drawing will work then we all can put minds together an help have seen a few home made scroll jigs but with out knowing what we a are looking for/at hard to see in the mindidealarc 250/250 ac-dc tigidealarc 250/250 ac-dc tig #2 used for sticklincoln sp100hh125dual arbor grinder polisher30 yrs of hand tools52 pitch blocks 6p-26prake gauge -pitch gaugeG&D prop repair 918-207-6938Hulbert,okla 74441 |
