ok here is my first stick welds! i have allways ran mig /tig so be nice!so hope i can get some better pics soon!
Reply:oh hear is the machine!so this is a really nice machine 150miller 110/220 with just a plug change wich takes about 20sec unscrew /screw the other back on!

Reply:If those are your first stick welds then you are better than alot of people who have been practicing for some time.I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......
Reply:i have never been taught about stick.never had to use it allways worked inside ect. whats hard for me is that im yoused to watching my pudle with stick i cant see it!!! but i plan on doing some more pratice!

Reply:i bet that last one peeled off by itself..looks like you can see the puddle, fooled me..its the silver shiny thing between the orange slag and the rod..id think the same position that let you see it around a mig gun would work with stick..looks real good.
Reply:yes that one was peeling off by the time i finished welding!the first couple i really had to chip.im used to mig and keeping the stickout at a certain length that didnt work as well for the stick ,so the rest i stuck the rod right in there! what should i do when i get to the end of the weld ?whats the best way to stop?what do you guys do?

Reply:well im looking forward to some more pratice! i will post my progress.hope this next week to try out the tig on the same machine. allso got the plaz they make that is the same sise as the welder.now i just need a job
