This guy flies through some Al TIG. The vid is not filtered but it shows some good pulsing technique. I wonder if this guy comes around the site? Has the plan for the Video Forum progressed any?
Reply:Thats "pulsing"???Definatly diffrent from how I do it..I do the "pulse" as you call it when I weave or stitch but never in a "straight shot"..Diffrent strokes for diffrent folks I guess.......zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:I tried that once - all I got out of it was a sore ankleFire!, Fire! Oh wait, that's my torch...Lincoln PT-225 TIGLincoln 175 MIG
Reply:The guy does nice work. Really good control in pulsing the current and feeding the wire in sync. A poor man's pulse control. There are very expensive welding machines that can be programmed for syncronous pulse current, wire feed, and even weave patterns, but this guy saved a bunch of money and has a "intelligent feedback control loop" not possible in a machine. |
