Rod Guards

I plan on getting a 50lb. oven soon to store the balance of my 10lb. cans of 3/32", 1/8" & 5/32" 7018. So I picked up some high temp Rod Guards to hold the hot ones on the way to the job. Reply:Hi StickyFingersMan,Those look nice.  Are they mine?  I don't recall them, but....  Anyway, I think Phoenix makes a squared-off plastic rod tube, maybe it's called the SafeTube, and it's rated to 250 degrees.  Not rated high enough for being in the oven with the rods, but I like the idea of the square sides b/c I hate roly-poly containers.I'm saving my old 10-lb Lincoln round tins, leaving the plastic caps on the shelf, and storing rods in the oven in them for now.  Then if I pull the rods out of the oven, I just pop the caps on and go.
