Been using my old Linde freekbox on my Bobber for over ten years now so today I made a pretty big change. I replaced it with a Miller Dynasty 200 DX!!! I just could not get over how much the 110v feature would help me in my line of work (mobile marine aluminum welding) and once I realized that all I had to do was make up my mind...Lincoln or Miller? After reading everything I could find I decided on the Miller! I do think It's high time Hobart got into the inverter tig biz. Both Lincoln and Miller are just too dang high priced!! I really wanted to by a new wsm 200P chinese like a Ryland maybe but the 110v thing just seemed to make more sense...it is a feature that I intend to make pay for itself. If the Ryland had been a 110v machine also I would have bought one hands down before this. I fired it up tonight in my garage at home on 110v and was amazed just how good it welded...I've always thought inverters was overrated and have used them at work but there ain't no disputing 110v with an inverter and cranking out 150 amps AC tig!! Definetly not transformer territory!!Tommorrow I am going to run the living crap out of it on a couple of pontoon boat jobs. Sure wish it was morning already!! Funny thing is I got an AMERICAN machine (mostly) on 9-11 so take that Bin Ladin!!Miller Dynasty 700Miller 350P with Aluma-pro push-pullMiller 280 Dynasty with expansion card Dynasty 200 DXMigMax 215 Enuff power and hand tools to create one of anything..... but mass produce nothing!!!
