Reply:thermal arc has a new model, its a thermal arc 181i it is mig/dc-tig/stick for like $810.. think it would be tough to beat the versatility of that machine..tackleexperts.comwww.necessityjigs.comhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/mach...dingequipment/

Reply:I have the Miller 150S, it is not the finest stick welder I have ever used, but it does just fine with most 3/32 & 1/8 electrodes. The size, weight, and ability to run on120V cannot be beat.I haven't used either of the others but the Millers are quite popular and widely available used. I paid $400 for mine on C/L and it looked almost new.JohnA few weldersA lot of hammersA whole lot of C-clamps
