Reply:Okay, you got me. I am jealous!!My new shop has a positioner for pipeline materials; the clamp on the positioner holds up to 48" flanges directly; it can be modified to go bigger! The smallest it will hold is 2" material.And then, after so much work...... you have it in your hand, and you look over to your side...... and the runner has run off. Leaving you holding the prize, wondering when the runner will return.

Reply:Given the scale of the shag on the carpet, the relative angle from lens to subject, and the tides and moons............Looks like some mini welds a fellow put up here a while back.  Really cool stuff.  I think it was dealing with electronic and medical equipment.  Not these welds though, but something like themDoes it pass the smell test????? Reply:It is definitely welded, I make welds like this all the time, he welded some sort of thinwall tubing to a machined cylinder of sorts, but I'd still like more details!
