Reply:Sure there is. It is just a cracked bracket that needs a little more weld poured on it.
Reply:it will take longer than that to pull the leads.................
Reply:Yeah and then you have to figure out which one is the ground. Now that may be hard for some of you I'd bet. I wasn't looking for somebody to weld it for me because I don't know how. I was looking for help because I don't have a welder with me. You shouldn't treat everybody like a newbie just cause they don't have a bunch of posts.
Reply:Heck man..........hit you're favorite waterin' hole, and find someone who talks the talkProbably a bunch of 'em Attached Images"Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/

Reply:Oilfield, not trying to put you down because you're a "newbie" - who really pays attention to the post count, anyway? However, Leadhead is right - there's no such thing as a "five-minute job." Maybe when you actually get to the welding part, there is, but remember, there's a lot of setup before you can staert welding, i.e., drive time, setting up the generator/welding equipment, pulling the welding leads out, getting suited up for safety, grinding and general cleanup of the parts, etc. Probably looking at half an hour just in setup time alone before the torch even gets lit.Anyway, so what's the job? Pictures? There has to be someone out there in Des Moines that can throw down a bead for you.
