Harris model 356 is 9 dollars cheaper and comes with a 3 year warrenty, does anyone know if the victor dfm 150 comes with a warrenty or prefers victor over harris?
Reply:Just seen Smith's dual flowmeter is $76 cheaper than Victor's, also looking for recommendations.
Reply:i prefer victor over anything mainly for ease of finding consumables here at my LWS thats all they sell for consumables they can order stuff but when do we really have thetime to wait for and ordersd part just my 2 centsLincoln Pro Core 125Lincolin sp 100Miller Big 40Lincoln Idealarc SP250miller matic 212http://www.facebook.com/hdwelding?sk=wallwww.hdweldingbeds.com
Reply:Flow meters shouldn't need "consumables" but Victor rebuild kits are easy to get. I'd buy two standard flowmeters and a Western Enterprises CGA-580 tee. Break a dual flowmeter, lose BOTH sides. Break ONE of two on a tee, still have one usable flowmeter and you can connect a backup if you have one handy.
